//Larchmont New York Tudor
Will and Lidia
This white-washed stone home pays tribute to its surroundings. Larchmont is a lovely, old New York suburb holding on to its 400-year-old legacy like a foregone conclusion. It was always meant to be. Owners Lidia and Will loved our design in contrasts, retaining the home’s rambling remnants of Tudor architecture punched up with contrasting materials. We chose bright white to canvas traditional furniture, stark and straight, in dark woods. Marble elegance plays softly with natural light in exactly the places where they want to feel most indulged. This polish meets hand-hewn touches of reclaimed wood, and hand-blown light fixtures to make company feel as they should—welcome, home, at ease. This environment extends out to the veranda, where the old village meets the trees.
