Catskills Ski Lodge Hideaway

A young couple from Brooklyn purchased this rustic cabin upstate and wanted the urban sophistication feel in their new weekend home without the typical deer heads.

We stuck to a design that was very true to the home and area by bringing in a mixture of woods. Contrasting this with the AHG approach of combining mixed metals and soft fabrics, in this case furs, linens and hides, we were able to obtain a sophisticated yet rustic feel.

Downstairs we custom built a copper bar adjacent to a pool table for the parents and a custom tent room for the kids. Chris and Jess wanted their country hideaway to be fun for them and their three kids.

We brought the outdoors in with plush, kid friendly decor in their bedrooms.

Lavish linens, pillows and throws— a nod to a little Game of Thrones in the Catskills.
